I attended the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, and have Ph.D. and J.D./L.L.B. degrees.I love teaching. My experience with teaching began in a class for gifted students who had learning difficulties, and I have continued to enjoy teaching ever since. My teaching experience includes all college levels, from community college to graduate level. I enjoy mentoring and currently work with doctoral and research students as both a dissertation chairperson and mentor. What I have discovered is that I learn from my students as much as they learn from me.I am a university law professor, but am currently on sabbatical. During this time, I am working on two books about psychology/law and a science fiction novel that deals with artificial intelligence.Subjects in which I tutor students include American and European history, economics, psychology, philosophy, world religions, religious studies, social studies, business, social sciences, constitutional law, ethics, legal writing, and legal research.I am originally from the United Kingdom, but have been in the United States with my family for around 10 years. In addition to teaching, I enjoy research, writing, music, driving fast, riding horses, and singing in the bath. I also operate a nonprofit organization with some colleagues that helps people achieve gainful employment.
