Experience
I have found the most satisfaction in life when sharing my knowledge with others. Much the same, I found enjoyment in the four semesters that I was able to be a teaching assistant while in grad school. As a teaching assistant, I had the opportunity to assist students in developing their comprehension in the subject. For these reasons, I have decided to pursue a career in teaching. I am available to tutor a variety of levels in the subjects of math and science. I am also available to assist with test prep. Currently, I am a chemistry adjunct professor at a liberal arts college near Chicago. Prior to teaching, I worked as a researcher in the chemical industry. I earned my Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. I earned dual BS degrees in Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Some of my personal interests are basketball, baseball, DIY, football, gardening, and woodworking.
