I tutored at the University of Virginia, where I was an assistant teacher for Cell & Molecular Biology and the undergraduate and graduate levels of Introduction to MATLAB. Also, I have a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the university. I've been a volunteer tutor for students in any grade of elementary school up through high school. I can use my experience with exams such as the SAT, ACT, MCAT, and others in tutoring my students to prepare for these. The subjects I learned in my undergraduate studies are also things I can help in. These include but are not limited to calculus, algebra, differential equations, physics, Spanish, applied mathematics, and languages.I believe my professional experience will be very beneficial for local students in and around Aurora, Colorado. In my teaching and tutoring work, I try to make learning an easier process to handle, using shortcuts, games, and gradually building up subjects so students reach the performance level they need to but at their own individual pace. I enjoy Tae kwon do, dancing, chess, and salsa when not working or helping others succeed in their academic subjects. The other interests I enjoy include reading, doing puzzles, and friendship bracelets.
