I'm a University of Toronto student seeking a human biology degree on the pre-dental track. I began teaching as a high school student, giving some lessons, and I learned how much I enjoyed helping others learn new things. It's very rewarding to see students make progress and achieve goals through my assistance. I started tutoring students in science and math as well, and I really enjoy that too, so I have continued as a tutor. I like to help students better understand subjects by connecting them to things they already know and understand. I believe forming these connections is a great way to help students retain information and stay motivated to learn. When I have free time, I like to swim, play basketball, and make music.
